We are a team of Combat Veterans who, at an early age, believed that it was our patriotic duty to enlist in the US Armed Forces with the purpose and intention of going to war. Returning from combat, we suffered the debilitating effects of PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, etc. and those tasked to help us in the VA Health System were ill-equipped. Prescribed medication was making things worse, and we were dangerously close to joining the current suicide rate for Veterans of 18/day.
Then a miracle happened, when we divinely stumbled upon Plant Medicine and its powerful healing affects - our lives were saved. It still required a lot of hard mental and emotional work - it’s not a silver bullet - but it equipped us with what we needed to begin healing and showing up for life, our families and our work places.
